metrology software products ltd (MSP) enjoyed an evening at the MTA (Manufacturing Technologies Association) Annual Dinner on Thursday 28th January. MSP Directors Tony Brown and Peter Hammond were joined by Business Development Managers Margaret Toberty and Robert Richards, at the Vox in Birmingham for the annual event that brings together hundreds of senior individuals in engineering.
“We embrace any opportunity to celebrate the success of the manufacturing industry and the MTA annual dinner is an excellent platform for this,” said Tony Brown, Director at MSP.
A notable speaker at the event was Guy Mollart, Chairman and Managing Director of Mollart Engineering. Guy, who is also the President of the MTA, gave an inspiring speech focusing on innovation in software, times of change and the encouragement of the younger generation in to the industry to ensure a youthful, long term workforce.
The audience were left with the resonating message, “the future is now.”
With just two months to go before the MACH 2016 Exhibition; the largest event in the manufacturing calendar showcasing the finest manufacturers across a range of technologies, the MTA Annual Dinner proved an excellent opportunity to network with others from the industry. Margaret Toberty, Business Development Manager at MSP explains: “It was fantastic to meet and talk to like-minded people in a relaxed environment and there was a real feel good atmosphere ahead of MACH.”
