Following the success of last year, metrology software products ltd (MSP ltd) will be exhibiting at the prestigious Advanced Engineering Show at the NEC in Birmingham, on the 11th and 12th of November. The company will be showcasing their award-winning systems, NC-Checker and NC-PerfectPart at Stand E51.
NC-Checker enables the user to identify whether their machine tool can make the part before they start machining. This removes costly scrap, concessions or manual rework and gives complete confidence in the production cycle and machine tool.
NC-PerfectPart is a multi-award winning product which provides automated part set-up for 5-axis machine tools. This compensates for many errors found within composite machining such as fixturing or part distortion and counterbores adjustment.
To coincide with this event, NC-PerfectPart has been selected as a winner at this year’s Composites UK Industry Awards Dinner. The system has been awarded ‘Innovation in Manufacture’ for the improvement in manufacturing efficiency it provides and its considerable market potential. Technical Director, Peter Hammond, will be collecting the award at the dinner on the 11th of November at The National Motorcycle Museum.
Prior to the awards ceremony, Peter will be speaking at the Composites UK ‘Innovation of the Year’ Awards Preview Session at the Composites Engineering Show. This talk will highlight the benefits of NC-PerfectPart and the solutions it provides for the composite industry. It will take place between 15.00 and 16.00 at Open Forum 3.
